Hello Everyone!
I’m finally back with another reading wrap-up, which I am so happy about because I feel like I haven’t done one of these in ages! I didn’t get loads read in June (in fact I only read 2 books), but that’s because I still spent the first half of it doing exams, so I think 2 books in 2 and a half weeks when I have barely read all year is pretty good going! I haven’t really got much else to say, so let’st just start talking about the books!
The Sacrifice Box by Martin Stewart
If you saw last weeks blog posts then you will know that I recently finished reading ‘The Sacrifice Box’ by Martin Stewart because I posted a review for it last week! If you want to hear my more in depth (but still spoiler-free) thoughts, then you can read that review here: https://books.samanthadrage.co.uk/2019/06/25/book-review-the-sacrifice-box-by-martin-stewart/ . Overall I gave ‘The Sacrifice Box’ 3.75/5 stars because I did have a few issues with the writing style, but I did enjoy the book and was on the edge of my seat the whole time trying to figure out what was going to happen next!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K.Rowling
Whenever I mention Harry Potter I always debate just leaving out the author name because I think we all know who J.K.Rowling is by now, but anyway, as you may have gathered from my previous posts, I really love Harry Potter. Like, a lot… Well it is summer now and I was craving a re-read after all the stress of exams and the release of the new Harry Potter game (Wizards Unite) got me all hyped about it again. I have also been planning a detailed book to movie comparison for all of the Harry Potter books since last year’s re-read, but I didn’t think of the idea until I was on the Half Blood Prince, which as a little too late. My exams are over now though and I have time to dedicate to my little book vs movie project, so look out for them in the coming weeks and months! I don’t really think there is anything else I can say about this book that I or someone else hasn’t said before, so for now I will just say I love it!

5/5 (of course)
That’s all I have for this wrap-up, but hopefully July’s wrap-up will be full of many more books as I enjoy having the time to read them! I will warn you all now though that 90% of that wrap-up will be Harry Potter related, so be prepared for that! 😂 What did you read in June? How has your reading year been so far? I’d love to know, so leave a comment down below or come and tell me on my Instagram (@theoriginalbookdragon)
Goodbye for now!
