This week has been a mix of lots of different things and I am going to tell you all about it.
This week started with a trip home from my grandparents house and a visit to the hospital. I was sad to be leaving my grandparents house because I really do love it there. there is so much more space and the neighbourhood is much quieter. My visit to the hospital went well although it was stressful as it always is. It was just a routine check-up to see how my mental health it doing and how well my medication is working and everything is okay, but I am going to be looking into some other kinds of therapy in the coming months and years.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were mainly uneventful. I packed my suitcase to go to France, did some art-journaling and read, but otherwise didn’t really do much and just enjoyed my downtime, which was much needed.
When Friday rolled around I was up at 3am and in the car half an hour later, on the way to France. We were out of the country by 8 and arrived at our destination (Paris) by 1pm. Friday was mainly spent travelling and then later unpacking, but our accommodation is nice, so we had a lovely evening. I did some more writing, we went in the pool briefly and I read some of my current read (Fallen by Lauren Kate)
We didn’t have anything planned for the weekend other than relaxing and maybe a dip in the pool. I have spent the last two days writing, reading, taking photos and drawing with the occasional trip outside of our lodge to go to the pool, go for a walk or do some shopping.
My mood has been up and down this week, with some really low points and some high points, but the most difficult part has been managing my anxiety. It is getting close to back to school time of year, which is stressing me out and, although I adore travel, it is incredibly stressful for me. The coming week is going to be full of Paris, Disney, travelling, unpacking and re-packing because I am returning to my grandparent’s house the day after I get home from France. I have achieved slightly less this week in the physical sense, but I have made some (if small) steps towards learning how to look after myself and testing my limits. Before I go I just wanted to say that there won’t be a trying change video up on my YouTube channel this week, but there will be a travel vlog when I get home from France in about a week and a half.
Goodbye for now
