Hello Everyone!
I thought today it was time for another Favourites Friday! I haven’t done one of these in a little while and re-reading Harry Potter to analyse them for my book vs movie series has left me in a HUGE Harry Potter mood, so I thought I would shake things up a little today and talk about lots of my favourite from the Harry Potter world at large. Usually when i do a Favourite’s Friday I just talk about one thing that I have decided is my favourite, but I have put together 12 ‘favourite prompts’ today of my own making, so I guess it is sort of a tag combined with Favourites Friday!

Favourite Book
Easy. Order of the Phoenix by a country mile! I know some people find it a drag because there is more information than action and everyone is so angsty, but I love all the information and how we get to see Harry really struggling after everything he’s been through. I also think it is one of the most interesting years at Hogwarts with Umbridge and how Dumbledore treats him.
Favourite Movie
I had to think a bit more about this one, but I think it would be Chamber of Secrets. I’m currently on PoA in my re-read/re-watch for my book vs movie series and I have noticed that from PoA onwards things get less and less accurate. I think CoS is the most accurate out of the lot and I enjoy the still mostly wholesome aesthetic of Hogwarts before things get very dark.
Favourite Female Character
It is always difficult for me to choose favourite characters, but I think I have to go with Hermione because she was always my favourite as a child and I love her still to this day. I see a lot of myself in her with her excelling in classes and loving learning, but always being frustrated with others for not keeping up and the teachers for not teaching anything useful. She is afraid of failure most of all and I can relate to that in a big way. I will also give a special mention to Mcgonagall though because she is so badass!
Favourite Male Character
Harry. I know it is a bit cliche because he’s the main character, but I do really love him. I also adore Lupin though, so perhaps we’ll have to call this one a tie?
Favourite Cannon Couple
Romione! They are so adorable and such a realistic couple.
Favourite Creature
DRAGONS!!! (as you may be able to tell from my Instagram username – @theoriginalbookdragon) I also love Hippogriffs too.
Favourite Spell
Expecto Patronum for sure! It makes me happy because I always imagine using it on my mental illnesses when I’m feeling down or anxious. ❤😊
Favourite Wand
I adore Ginny Weasley’s wand! It was the first one I bought a replica of from the Warner Bro’s Studio Tour here in the UK and it is so pretty. It is black, fairly long and has a simple, but beautiful pattern carved at the bottom.😍
Favourite Quote

The Chudley Cannons of course! (it’s Rons favourite in case you didn’t know)
Favourite Wizard Food
Chocolate Frogs for sure! I’m such a fussy eater, but I’ll never turn down a good solid bit of chocolate and I would love to collect all the cards because I’m a huge hoarder like that.
Favourite Place At Hogwarts
I’m with Hermione on this one because it is definitely Hermione. In case you hadn’t noticed by the fact that I have a whole blog dedicated to books, I really love them and i also adore learning, so I would live the Hogwarts Library if I was given half a chance!
And that’s it! I have a huge grin on my face now after writing this because Harry Potter makes me so happy!
