Hello Everyone!

Today is Day 27 of the 30-day-book-challenge, which means today we are going to be talking about a book with the most surprising plot twist/ending! For this prompt I have chosen Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo! Now, before I go any further, I want to make it very clear that this post is going to contain SPOILERS for the end of Crooked Kingdom and Six of Crows, so if you haven’t read them, then first of all what are you doing with your life, second of all go and read them, and third do not read this post and simply wait until tomorrows.

Okay, now we can continue… The reason I have chosen Crooked Kingdom for this prompt is because Matthias dies. I know I’m sobbing too, so feel free to go away and cry for a bit and then come back and continue reading. Like Jesper says (I think it is Jesper anyway) I was so sure that they were all going to survive. After all they had been through, breaking into the most high-security prison and getting out alive, saving everyone that needed to be saved and more and everything the experienced together, it didn’t even cross my mind that one of them might not make it because this is the Six of Crows gang we are talking about led by the one and only Kaz Brekker, so how could anything go wrong? Clearly I was wrong though and that fact really shocked me and I am still not over it.
