Hello Everyone!
Today is Day 25 of the 30-day-book-challenge, which means we are nearing the end, but for today we are going to be talking about the character I relate to the most! I thought long and hard about my answer for this prompt and how I was going to lay it out because I couldn’t possibly talk about just one character, but if I told you about all of the characters I relate to then we would be here for hours, so instead I have decided to simply list them with a brief explanation of why they mean a lot to me and why I relate to them:

– Theodore Roosevelt –
Tessa Gray – fights like a girl (like a badass), knows her worth, loves deeply, a bookworm just like me.
Clary Fray – an artist, determind and stubborn, takes everything in her stride.
Cath (from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell) – Has anxiety just like me, loves to write, would rather hide in her room and visit a fictional world than deal with the real one, doubts her own judgement.
Isabelle Lightwood – fiercly protective over those she loves, doesn’t let anyone see her pain, holds her head high and loves herself and her body.
Simon Lewis – is a nerd and is proud of it, makes jokes at rather inappropriate times, is underestimated, but strives to do what he can and for the best possible outcome.
Evan (from Dear Evan Hansen) – Honestly I just love Evan because he is just as much of a mess and a screw up as I am and it was refreshing to see a character who doesn’t have some hidden quality.
Hermione Granger – intelligent, loves books and reads far too much for her own good (there is no such thing as too many books though), doesn’t let herself get pushed around by anyone just because she is a girl or because she is a muggleborn.
Annabeth Chase – Highly intelligent, always thinks logically, loves to roll her eyes and gets very impatient with those who are less intelligent than her, is blonde and gets looked down on for it, knows her own weakness and accepts it and works around it instead of fighting it.
