Hello Everyone!
Today is Day 24 of the 30-day-book-challenge, which means today we are going to be talking about a book that I want everyone to read. There are so many books I could have chosen for this prompt like The Mortal Instruments, Six of Crows Duology, The Infernal Devices, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter etc., but they are already very popular books I reckon those people who are interested in reading will have read them already or they are already on their list, so i decided to go for a much more obscure book that I don’t think many people have read or even heard of. That book(s) is the Girl at Midnight Trilogy by Melissa Grey.
I have talked about this series before on my post about books I don’t talk about enough, but I otherwise don’t talk about it much (hence why it was on that post), but I really don’t know why because I adore The Girl at Midnight Trilogy! I will leave a link to the goodreads page at the bottom of this post, so you can read the synopsis (and add it to your TBR shelf). The world that Melissa Grey has created is so intricate and so original. I have never read anything else like what she has written and I can only begin to imagine where she thought it all up. The characters are complex and amazing and I love each and everyone of them. I will admit that the general plot is quite stereotypical ‘chosen one’ like, but I personally really like that trope and I’m never mad when people use it, so as long as that doesn’t bother you I think you will really love this series.
Have you read the Girl at Midnight Trilogy? What book do you want everyone to read? Tell me below or over on my Instagram (@theoriginalbookdragon) and I’ll add it to my TBR!
Goodbye for now!
