Hello Everyone!
Today I am back with another tag and this time it is the ‘Bookish Marvel Tag’! I found this tag while I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and since I love both Marvel and books I thought this was the perfect tag for me to do! Without any further-ado lets just get into it:
IRON MAN: A book that made you laugh
For a book that made me laugh I am going to go with ‘Carry On’ by Rainbow Rowell. This books was hilarious and exactly what I wanted from a spin-off novel of ‘Fangirl’. Simon Snow is so precious and clueless and you just can’t help but find him hilarious
CAPTAIN AMERICA: A book set in another time period
For those that know me, this is a very obvious answer, but that is ‘The Infernal Devices’ by Cassandra Clare. I love Cassandra Clare and I think everything she writes is just fabulous. The Infernal Devices are my favourite books of hers that she has written, so this of course had to be my answer.
THOR: A character you admire for their strength
I am going to give two answers for this one who definitely have to be Nina and Inej from the ‘Six of Crows’ Duology by Leigh Bardugo. These two girls go through so so much, but they still hold their heads high and laugh along with everyone else. Their focus and determination never wavers despite their pain and I can’t help but admire them for that.
HULK: A book that made you angry
I spent a long time thinking about my answer for this one, but I think I am going to go for ‘The Witch Doesn’t Burn In This One’ by Amanda Lovelace. This isn’t because I didn’t like the book (in fact I loved it), but it is because the topics that are discussed in this poetry collection are so relevant and it makes me so angry that we are still having to fight for basic human rights.
HAWKEYE: Your favourite underrated book
I knew my answer for this straight away and that is ‘The Girl at Midnight’ Trilogy by Melissa Grey. I read the first book in this trilogy when it first came out about 3 years ago and have been buying and reading the next book in the series the day of release ever since. I finally now have all 3 and I adore them all. They were the first lesser known fantasy books that I fell in love with and I wish more people had read them.
QUICKSILVER & SCARLET WITCH: Your favourite brotp
Percy and Jason from the Heroes of Olympus series will always be my brotp.
LOKI: Your favourite villain
This was another one that I sat and thought about for a while because there are several villains that I really love, but I think my favourite would have to be The Darkling from The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. He is such a complex character and what makes him even scarier is that you can really understand his motives and it makes you think about what side you would really be on if you were in that situation. I always love it when books make you question your morals.
That is it for this tag! I hope you enjoyed reading about some books that I maybe don’t talk about so often and some old favourites of mine and I will see you in the next post. I tag anyone who wishes to do this tag. What is your favourite book tag?
Goodbye for now!
