I buy a lot of books.
This is just a fact. I am a reader and so therefore I buy a hell of a lot of books. I have about 30 books that I still haven’t read, but if you think my rather large TBR pile is going to stop me from buying more books, then you are wrong. I haven’t bought loads of books this month (only 4), but I thought I would share them with you anyway and give you their synopsis. It might even convince you to add them to your TBR pile.

Kings Cage by Victoria Aveyard
Who will light the way for the rebellion?
Mare Barrow is a prisoner, powerless without her lightning, tormented by her mistakes. She lives at the mercy of a boy she once loved, a boy made of lies and betrayal. Now a king, Maven continues weaving his web in an attempt to maintain control over his country – and his prisoner. While Mare remains trapped in the palace, the remnants of the Red Rebellion continue organizing and expanding. As they prepare for war, no longer able to linger in the shadows, Cal – the exiled prince with his own claim on Mare’s heart – will stop at nothing to bring her back.
Those are the 4 books that I have bought in February. The first two are stories that were on the buy one get one half price table, so of course I just had to buy them because they were on offer. The thrid one is a poetry book. When I told people that I was going to buy it they all honestly nearly fell of their seats in shock. I have always hated all of the stuffy old poetry that we are forced to study in school, but recently I have realised that n0t all poetry was written 300 years ago about someone that goes insane. Milk and Honey seems to be by far one of the most popular at the moment, so I thought I would give it ago. And finally Kings Cage (the 3rd book in the Red Queen series) is a book that I have been waiting for, for a few months now and I have finally got it. I might wait until the 4th and final book in the series comes out before I start to read it thought because I am not sure that I can deal with the pain of having to wait again. It’s not like I don’t have enough books to distract me in the meantime.
Have you bought any books this month? Do you like poetry? I would love to know. Also how big is your TBR pile? Is it as big as mine?
Goodbye for now!
