Somehow it is almost October, which means the time has come for another TBR. I’m not sure which books I put on my September TBR, but I have a suspicion that there may be some repeats here as I really didn’t get to reading much in September. I’ll be talking about that more in my September wrap-up next week though, so make sure you subscribe to my blog to make sure you don’t miss that and let’s get into next months TBR!
Caraval Trilogy by Stephanie Garber
I was hoping to read at least some of the Caraval Trilogy in September, but that didn’t happen. I have started the first book (I’m loving it by the way), but I haven’t managed to get much further than a 100 pages because the last 2 weeks have been a crazy whirlwind of new people, new things and lots of work to do! If you didn’t know, I started college 2 weeks ago and I am loving it, but it is incredibly tiring, so I’ve had little energy to dedicate to reading. Hopefully I’ll get used to it in a few weeks though and will be able to get back to reading because I really am loving Caraval and it definitely has the potential to become one of my favourites of all time!
Behind the Image by Anna Fox & Natasha Caruana
This is a bit of a different book, but as I mentioned, I am at college now and I am studying photography, so I am already utilising the library to its full extent. I honestly think I’ll have read all the photography books by Christmas! I have already read a couple, but I’ll talk about that more in my wrap-up, but I definitely want to get this one read in October so I can get some more out and continue to learn like the nerd I am.😁📚📷 (p.s. I am actually writing this in my college library right now!)
I’m actually not sure what the rest of my TBR is going to look like for the coming month because I really am just taking one day at a time at the moment, so I haven’t really got any idea how much I’m going to be able to read. I do also have a 24 hr readathon planned for Halloween, so I will obviously have a different TBR for that and I haven’t the blindest idea what I’m going to read for that yet, so I think I will do another blog post about my Halloween readathon nearer the time and I’ll be vlogging it too, so you can check out my YouTube Channel for that!
These are really the only 4 books that I can guarantee you I want to get to in October, so I’m going to leave it here for today. If you want to see more real time updates about what I’m reading then you can follow me on Instagram: @theoriginalbookdragon and please feel free to come and chat to about anything bookish or otherwise over there or down below! What are you planning on reading in October? I’d love to know!
Goodbye for now!
